Hart

Below you can see the Green candidates standing for election in your area.

Odiham & Hook – Graham Stacey

Graham Stacey

My vision is a simple one - I want to keep our corner of Hampshire as beautiful and as wonderful a place to live in as it can possibly be.

I moved to Hook several years ago and have been actively campaigning against overdevelopment proposals to the area from the start. If elected, my focus will be on opposing needless ruination of our green spaces and ensuring legitimate developments get the infrastructure they require.

Vote Stacey on May 4 for a Green and pleasant Hart.

Church Crookham & Ewshot - Chas Spradbery

Chas Spradbery

After obtaining a Ph.D. in Materials Science, my career has been focused in the offshore energy industry designing world-leading renewable energy projects such as the Wave Hub test site in Cornwall. I recently moved to Church Crookham, having previously lived in other local areas - Hook, Yateley etc. I believe that Climate Change is the greatest threat that humanity has have ever faced and the government's approach of putting the economy before the environment is fundamentally flawed.

I am standing for election as I am not willing to stand idly by and let the self interest of current politicians outweigh the future that my kids deserve.

Hartley Wintney & Yateley West – Ruth Jarman

Ruth Jarman

Since moving to Hartley Wintney, pregnant with my first child 18 years ago, I have helped my community, schools and church to understand and act on climate change. If elected I would work to make Hampshire the first UK county to divest from fossil fuels, reinvesting the £millions in local sustainable jobs, energy and infrastructure.

Yateley East & Blackwater – Frank Gantley

Frank Gantley

I am married with two grown up children, and my wife Dawn is a senior nurse in the NHS. I have lived in Yateley for over 20 years and I am a Project Manager. I’ve been active in the Green Party since 2009 and have stood for Hart District council elections twice before. My main area of policy interest is affordable housing, and when I have any free time I love to go mountain biking.
